Beef & Lentil Burgers

Cooking Time 10


500 gbeef mince
420 gcan brown lentils, drained well
1large carrot, grated
0.25 cupchopped coriander leaves
1 tbspground cumin
0.75 cupdried breadcrumbs


1Combine all ingredients.
2Form into 12 patties approx 8cm in diameter. Toss patties in extra breadcrumbs if desired.
3Heat 20 ml oil in large frying pan.
4Cook burgers over moderate heat for 5 minutes on each side until well browned and cooked through.


Serve with toasted Turkish bread, hummus and salad.
