Cajun Lamb Burgers

Ingredients

650g Lean lamb mince
½ cup Dried breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon Chopped thyme leaves
3 Cloves garlic crushed
2 teaspoons Hot paprika
2 teaspoons Cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon Cracked black pepper

Method

1 Combine lamb, breadcrumbs, thyme, garlic, paprika, and peppers. Mix together well. Form into 6 flat patties approx. 100mm diameter and 10mm thick.
2 Preheat BBQ on high heat setting. Reduce to low. Cook burgers for 5-6 minutes on each side, pressing down with a flat BBQ spatula, until browned and well cooked through.

Tips

1 Serving Suggestion: Serve on toasted wholegrain buns with rocket and avocado salad and natural yoghurt.
