Australian Beef Sausage with Apple and Sauerkrauts

Ingredients

300g Australian beef sausage
1 Large Onion, cut into wedges
2 Sour green apples
1 Cup Sauerkrauts
2 Sprigs of thyme
1 Cup Water or beef stock
Spring Onion for Garnish

Method

1 In a hot pan, sauté onion in oil. Add sausage and cook until lightly browned. Next, add the green apples and thyme and cook for 5-10 minutes. Add the sauerkrauts and continue to cook until very aromatic and well caramelized. Add beef stock and simmer until most of the liquid is evaporated. Serve immediately.
